YMCA Camp Onyahsa

Summer Residential and Day Camp Mid-June through Mid-August

YMCA Camp Onyahsa is a summer camp and off-season rental campground on Chautauqua Lake in Dewittville, New York, that has served our community since 1898. Our overnight and day camps run from mid-June through mid-August, for ages 4-15. Leadership opportunities are available for 15-16-year-olds. We also offer monthly overnighter camps the 3rd weekend of each month, September-May, for ages 5-12. These programs feature swimming, boating, arts and crafts, sports, a challenge course, hikes, campfires, and much more.

Onyahsa means fun and friendships in a safe and caring environment. We honor participant diversity, equity, and inclusion, and believe in the dignity and human rights of everyone. Our accessibility features include: ADA restrooms throughout camp, an accessible challenge course, an accessible playground, ramps in main buildings, and newly constructed accessible pathways between certain cabins and major buildings.

Rentals and Partnerships Mid-August through May
YMCA Camp Onyahsa also provides a unique venue for group rentals and partnerships from mid-August through May. We can host picnics, retreats, parties, conferences, and more. The Onyahsa staff is available to assist in planning and implementing your event or program. Our year-round facilities include heated lodges, a winterized dining hall, a recreation center, sports fields, nature areas, winterized and seasonal cabins, a "Forever Young Playground," and a beautiful waterfront. The camp has nearly 200 acres of natural woodlands that provide adventure and scenic beauty for all.
